Friends of Nature

Friends of Nature is an informal group of Creekside residents who share an interest in nature and ecology and who enjoy and appreciate the flora and fauna of our area.

Individual Friends participate in a myriad of activities, such as leading occasional bird walks and bird counts, documenting creek observations, gardening with native and pollinator plants, and monitoring the health of Creekside’s treasured heritage oaks.

Rosemary Passantino is the contact person for the Friends and can help connect Creeksiders with other Friends of Nature who share particular interests in birding, habitat friendly gardening, watershed and creek ecology, and wildlife observations.
